Fair enough. I liked No Heroes and Axe To Fall was decent, but I agree that nothing is fucking with Petitioning... and I think Jane Doe is cool too. I see where you're coming from though.

Back on the early converge tip, I'm in my room with my tv on static blastin petitioning on vinyl (original gold copy, not shitty remastered version) And it's so filing eerie. I miss the 90's when every band was weird. Fuck this tough guy shit.

Couldn't have said it better. I was bummed when I went to a converge show last year (toured with Coalesce) and saw that most of the audience was 18 or under.

It was cool how Jacob was talking to everyone that lined up after the concert one on one. Couldn't get the setlist, so I had to settle for a Coalesce one.

Not to be "that guy" but what the fuck makes this hardcore? This shit sounds more like some breaking Benjamin/staind garbage. There's literally no way to relate this to anything that is generally considered hardcore.

Seriously though. Go listen to Bencap's band hesitation wound (great name btw) that's some of the best hardcore I've heard in a long time.

ruiner was one of the first shows I ever went to, a few years back when they were on tour with other bridge 9 bands. ruiner was also one of the first hardcore bands I ever listened to it and I remember feeling electrified.

Kinda blows my mind dudes call Ruiner an "older" hardcore band, but it's all subjective I guess. My band did two weeks on tour with them in the summer of '06, so it's weird to me for people to call them "older".

I was mostly kidding when I was inferring to them as older. Although it does seem to be that the wave of hardcore from 2003-2009 had a lot of memorable bands and albums and moments.
