They didn't show how the lunch panned out but showed Davies(?) calling Ari to say basically Vince was just being played as a bargaining chip so they can get the current actor to lower his price. That's why it was "offer pending lunch" because Vince never had a real shot at the role to begin with.

The episode was almost a half hour long this week. Both True Blood and Entourage ran for almost their entire time slots. I was happy about that. HBO still needs time to prep for next week and also to let you know that the next day that the show will be On Demand for you to watch. I still don't understand why you're complaining about this. I felt cheated last season when the shows were running to 22-23 minutes, but as for last week, the it ran for almost the entire block that it was set for.
