regular + fried tofu

beech + king oyster + shiitake mushroom

shitty homemade sukiyaki with mainly leftover unused ingredients 

i probably did this all sorts of wrong but i still enjoyed it (first time ever). dipping it in raw egg was fun and tastier than i had hoped

Odd how I rarely see that in Shabu-shabu joints here.

 

Commonfolk put egg in that soy based broth/sauce + with chopped chilis, chives, and sate.

 

Would say half do egg in the actual boiling pot itself.

 

 

Favourite thing is poaching eggs in the pot, before anything else.

 

Put that in a bowl with cooked udon, and sate. Makes for this vvyummy franken carbonara.

I think those were just Alton Brown's basic southern buttermilk biscuit recipe. Super easy, and real tasty. Made them to go with fried chicken.

last time I went to a mcdonalds and got myself a happy meal I realized I could have gotten myself some bombass focaccia pizza bread instead and some change

haven't been back since

missing real food so went to get my usual but instead of chicken I asked for soft potatoes, soft garlic naan which I can't really finish without giving my jaw a workout

Yeah wasn't the best I've had tbh, but even the most poorly executed katsu are still tasty. The sauce sorta made up for the dryness. Gonna head to one of my favorite spots sometime soon.
