yeah i'm tempted to paypal him to ship some of that to me

i'm actually thinking about starting up a small prepared foods/catering company with a couple friends. sufu quality control team perhaps?

not a baker myself but that base looks overly brown...what went in it?

You are indeed correct, though it was just barely overcooked. I used whole wheat flour, hence a naturally darker crust to begin with.

As for what went in, basic quiche base (2 cups of cream, 3 eggs), gruyère, bacon, ham, chives, carmelized onions and sautéed mushrooms. So basically a bastardized Lorraine.

Not really the kinda stuff I normally make, but it wasn't bad.
