I've only been to Torrisi for lunch (and that BOMB ass setup they had at the Sen Genaro festival a few months ago), but that shit is most definitely truth. Try the turkey sandwich next time you're there, it shits on anything.

I went to Locanda Verde on Wednesday night w/ a bunch of coworkers, so I couldn't snap pics. If you ever go, order the off-the-menu steak for 2 and thank me later. It's one of the best kept carnivorous secrets in this fair city. Other highlights include lamb sliders, fresh ricotta crostini, and this crazy steak tartar that had walnuts and truffle oil mixed in, topped w/ a nice lil egg. But that steak is the winner... it's no Lugers but it stands up to just about anything else in the city.

I can't speak for Locanda's brunch but I heard they have the best breakfast on the island, sure it's gonna be great.

Side note - are you a food critic or something? You seem to be on top of a lotta great spots here.

Edit: I read marea instead of maialino. I actually made that pork ragu a few weeks ago. It was amazing

So I had planned to go to Toronto with a few friends but there were some complications which landed us in immigration for half the day.

Anyway when we got out we decided to get some Chile's.

At that point, ANYTHING sounded good.
