This seems like the right place to talk about this.

It seems some people watched xmen days of future past and didn't realise that it began in a different timeline and ended after the events of the first xmen movie.

Why would they fuck up all the storylines of all the xmen movies lol?

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure because if the next film has apocalypse in it then it should have cable in it...

HANGON did mystique die when they tested on her? OK I am confused.

Edit edit: so they did change the story. I was lied to. But why was Xavier alive in the future?

His style is played out, he doesn't even try anymore. At least Bottle Rocket and Darjeeling kind of switched up the corduroy blazers/pastels/70s/quirk formula but all of his movies kind of feel the same now. They're all just "ok" at this point

i know , budhapest was still good, nothing extraordinary. and yeah all his

movies feel the same except early stuff

but rushmore is one of his first film and its quite the greatest, for me at least, and doesnt play with pastel/ 70s etc

I'd say that's accurate and I haven't seen mr. fox, the life aquatic and Budapest, but from the movies I did see (everything else), I did feel like they all were feeling pretty similar and wasn't really down with it after a while.

loved rushmore, definitely my favorite from him

bottle rocket and moonrise were pretty good also

hated the royal tenenbaums for some reason, couldn't put my finger on it

just came back from this. wow. the imagery, the themes, the whole commentary on humanity, the "seduction" scenes. holy shit.

best I've seen in a long time. going to be analyzed for decades. probably a masterpiece. 9/10

Had little interest in seeing this until a review swayed my mind, and damn i had a blast. This movie had some genuinely funny moments and excellent action sequences as well.
