Lads on Tour: Tokyo Trip Edition

Hey guys, it seems like multiple people were interested in an idea I floated about a dudes-only denimhead meetup/trip to Tokyo.

 

If this were to happen, I'd like to get people's thoughts about when they would be able to make it. I'm tentatively thinking next summer, but it depends on everyone's schedule. I was looking at next June, as ticket prices are down then, and it's not yet typhoon season in Japan either. 

 

Whoever's interested post here so we can get the ball rolling!

Those dates work for me, as I can take off whenever I went (except for 9/7). Weather will be pleasant at that time, and tickets are off season.

well, somehow my trips for the past couple years have coincided around jan/feb. as it's ski season and i tend to hit the slopes as well. coming off heavy year ends in retail in nov/dec, it's also good for me to catch a break then. are we looking before mid year say june or after? not sure how off season works for me as down under is always upside down. winter could be peak for people to travel to europe...

I was under the impression that Inazuma wasn't cool anymore, or is that just sarcasm?   

Louis, I was thinking from June onward, so summer/fall. Not sure how much more tickets are then from 'Stralia, though I've been to Japan in July and didn't see any Australians there.

I'm already committed to 2 long hauls next year now, Caribbean and Vietnam / Cambodia (it's a hard life) but will be keeping my eyes on this thread should the opportunity to squeeze a third trip in arises.

well obviously, cause all those fellas hitting up contiki europe and getting rekt.... hahaha. well, cool or uncool, i've told myself ever since i got into this that one day i'll have to physically be at inazuma just to see what it's like.

 

i guess that could work as i try to plan my trips few months in advance. considering i haven't plan any to japan in jan yet (which i did last year somewhen around now), i guess maybe fit in two trips in a year??? i've been whinging alot recently about having not plan a trip round summer/fall to japan and always in winter..

I had been planning to go Japan in March for the cherry blossom season, but I could delay or go again later in year...any excuse to visit japan is welcome for me
