hey, if you want to keep the leather patch from shriveling up, apply some mink oil, neatsfoot oil or leather balm and you'll be ok.

Neatsfoot oil smells like ham hocks… but makes leather real purdy.

bunch of stupid but necessary questions in a thread like this so. what size are these and what size do you normally wear? is that pic pre or post soak? the rise looks a little high but the fit looks good.

size 29, post-soak. i'm normally a 30, but since the rise is a bit high on the duckdiggers, i opted to size down. i'm really pleased with the fit, and there's a nice slubbiness to the denim as well. nothing as extreme as the pbj-ai 001s, but a fairly rough texture nonetheless.

so i just read through this whole thread and i have two questions:

-is evevry model year of the duckdiggers from the '20s to the '50s the same cut just with different details? or all different cuts/rises etc etc?

-what is the weight of the denim used in the '20s? is it 14oz like the others? BiG doesnt specify..
