Got burglarized this past Monday. They kicked in the front door and took 2 TVs and a laptop. They would have gotten a lot more if we didn't have alarm installed. Got preyproject installed. Report started coming in yesterday. Already filed police report and called them yesterday and today. Said they'll pass it on and have someone call me back both times. I got to thinking about this last night. I initially wanted to get directly involved and contact her friends and family but I wonder if they or her even give a shit, and would it even produce any results. I think the most prudent way to go about it now, with no legal repercussions or retributions, is to just let the law play itself out, even though the police haven't contacted me since the day of the burglary. I've contacted them again and left a message for the burglary department (they work 8-4 M-F) and gave them her name, the name of her mom, sister, one of her aunts, her birthday(s), and her criminal record. I'll call them again this Monday.

I think you're in a good spot, and doing a good job of gathering info. Keep pushing the police, you're gonna have to do pretty much all the legwork, don't expect any help from them until you can hand over a complete package that makes an arrest really easy. At the very worst you can amass tons of personal info and pics, hopefully deeply humiliating ones, and send it to them letting them know if they return everything in a cool way you won't put it all out there. If they don't return anything I vote to give us their names and info and I'm sure we'll all collectively do a great job of making their lives miserable.
