wild swans wallets

I'm looking for a new wallet and while I really like the leather used in Red Moon's wallets, the size appeal to me. I stumbled onto Wild Swans though, which seems to be the same quality but with a slimmer aesthetic.

Does anyone have any info on their wallets? More specifically, I'm looking hard at the Wings model. North American stockists or online shops that carry them would really be helpful, thanks.

You will either have to use a middle man like Celga or Juno or maybe use the how to order japanese denim thread contained in the denim encyclopedia in superdenim, and order from Rakuten that ships to NA.

Just something that people do not realize is how much these cost too. From my understanding you could easily spend $300.

I'm saving up for SPANKER in choco. Was a hard decision, I liked the Red Moon Shell Cordovan wallet, but then........ I just went with WildSwans.

Just to clarify... 200$ is for the Wings wallet - I remember the Spanker II to be over 300$...

you can buy pretty nice meals just using coins in japan. since coin denominations are pretty large... you end up carrying a lot of change - wouldn't be too comfortable carrying a pound of coins in your pocket.

from my own experience, japanese very seldom put change in their pockets. most ppl (guy included) carry unusually large wallet and either have a coin wallet or pouch or put their change into their wallet.

yeah I do that too, since putting coins inside your wallet will pretty much wear out your wallet pretty quick

plus if ur sitting on thick wallet too long, you might get the wallet syndrome??

and im saving up to buy the wings, has anyone that purchased ws wings used mink oil with it?

I'm looking at the ORI-KAMI coin purses... does anyone know how much these cost off the top of their head? The page on their website doesn't seem to be loading for me.

the ori-kami line is cool- leather is much much thinner - it'll probably hold up fine though.
