Got me, Maynard. I was thinking of japanese brands mainly.

So here they are, LVC s501XX. Made around 2000 in the USA, as I was told by Mr. almostnice. Luckily with the old 38" inseam.

Waist: 87 cm / 34,25"

Inseam 89,5 cm / 25,24"

Hem 22cm / 8,66"

Backrise 41cm / 16,4 "

Front rise 31 cm / 12,2 "

Excuse the poor quality, I didn't have good gear back then.

allways loved those 3000vx BF , if there not too big now you realy should get around to wearing them

while none of my jeans resemble the ww2 fit i thought id add some fit pics anyway

Fullcount 1100dont quite know when ill get them hemmed but im in no hurry to wear them

The fit on the FCs is so damn on spot. OOEs are not shabby neither. Great pairs you have mate.

What about a period denimclad WWII battle reenactment with Nerf guns, On the field near my house. Winner gets parachute silk for stockings, Chocolate, Corned Beef and an Audie Murphy haircut.

But as the OOE's going on and up coming HWDC2, Devi's contest, you know...

I know. It was just more of a crank. But if such a type dedicated contest would ever happen, the WWII is the most interesting one. So many different interpretations.

@flash: you're right. It's the opportunity to be able to wear them all (Denime 501, Samurai S500XJ-LR, Denime 1951 and now S3000VX today )

So many requests for fitpics...the only one I could dig up is a crappy one. (can't take new ones as I'm at my parents house for easter).

The idea of a WWII contest sounds nice, but i won't have enough legs for all my current denim, so I'll have to pass, sorry.

right, i never got why they stopped the longer inseams on lvc. but i think i recall the newer 505 coming with 38". the fit is indeed a nice one, not as loose as you might think. and with a long rise.
