best concerts you ever been to

Recommended Posts

Converge at the Ottobar about a month ago was pretty brutal. People hanging from the poles, jumping from the top seats. The venue is pretty much perfect for them.

Favorite shows for me:

Pixies at Coachella '04

The Sword at Subterranean Sept '06

The Urge - at some place in St Louis for their farwell shows - saw them twice. I wanna say it was end of '01

Naked Raygun at Riot Fest this year - I could care less about much else there but I always missed Raygun when they were a band and I was on tour when they reuinted in '97 so, it was a great time to see.

Turbonegro - Scandinavian Leather tour at the Metro

Dismemberment Plan (I saw them twice, once at the Fireside in '96, once in '01? at some place that is now closed)

the Descendents in Madison around '97(?) or so. I'm shit with dates.

108/shelter at city gardens in trenton 1994?

I just recently saw 108 a couple weeks ago. Their new material tears it up.

My favorite show

In Control's last show with Internal Affairs, Striking Distance (uh, kinda. It was just the lead singer)
