So today I did a few things...

Started off by mowing the lawn. Yes, we still do that once every other week or so in LA... it's been warm.

Then we went to Handy Market for Lunch. Awesome deli in the Vally. Every Saturday they BBQ and the tri-tip sandwich is worth the drive.

But turkey panini today with some potato salad, greek stuffed grape leaves and a ginger beer to wash it down.

then I did the final clear coat on my my son's Stingray I've been restoring... out of pics for now...

Obviously not allowed to document the process with pictures, but my pair helped build bike merchandisers at a Wal-mart in Nebraska. I'd try to take pictures of my pants but I can hardly hold my hands up. Lifted steel i-beams off the ground and above my head, used a hammer drill, and a plethora of hand-tools . Sore in muscles i'd forgotten I even had.

pictures later I swear.

my buttons keep poppin off these pants, lost two buttons drunkingly pulling my pants off <_<

I think the rigidness of this fabric lends itself to this. Once they soften up it probably won't happen.

My kids are getting up to early for me to sneak out and take an updated fit pic. Will try and get one up soon. In the meantime a small update of whats been going on.

It took me long enough. Finally had some time to finish staining the deck. I built this deck with my father 4 or 5 years ago. I think its almost as much sq footage as the house.

Two days for sanding.

Before & After. Pictures are stitched from some iphone app.

I probably care too much about it because I built it. I know some day when we move the next owner will just paint the whole thing white with deck paint.

The pants sat out on this project. We are still in the honeymoon phase. Not as brave as NoSecretsBetweenSailors.

Happy Hooligan Handy Mart is rad. Its right down the way from me. Shoot me a message next time your in the area. If you like to grill their marinated carne asada is really good.

just received my pair yesterday and broke them out today. the waist is just perfect and the thigh is slightly roomy but will probably shrink after the first wash. i'm double-cuffing them now at the moment but will most probably hem an inch and a half off to get rid of the knee sags.

the fabric is really amazing and save for a couple of blotches (which i think the indigo didn't manage to quite seep through) it's perfect!

fit pics to come next. :)

Hoping to clean these up, and then integrate them in to some kind of book shelf fashioned from a number of older crates I've found over the past year or two.

Welp one month update for me, I've worn these every day and being a student i have a lot of sitting and standing. No washes yet except on one little spot, couldn't get a good shot of the combs, color is pretty true to the two pictures.
