Does superfuture know anything about the DEEP WEB?!

Recommended Posts

Am I the only one who isn't interested by this?

The ignorance. It's blissful.

be legit careful if you use this unless you are really good with security (and if you are i'm guessing you would have heard of the 'deep net' before this sufu thread).as the 'deep net' is mostly used for trading CP, snuff and other associated stuff for degenerates who shouldn't have access to computers. saying that, a lot of those groups you wouldn't just stumble upon and would need someone to hook you up. past the basic hidden wiki shit is not even worth the risk out of curiosity sake, even if you are into some totally sketchy shit. place would be full of scum and/or FBI monitoring.

So I did some research and:

1) Don't browse. It's dangerous, theres just tons of porn, sketchy wikileaks, bomb manuals, and anarchy shit. That's just after googling for 20 minutes.

A lot of the stuff is in another language, and you have to be careful what you click. You can probably get in trouble for this, I don't really know.

2) you can semi-browse at tor2web.org... but still sketchy, wouldn't really advise. Your not annonymous this way either, so ISPs or whoever can see your fucking around.

3)there are "attack" sites that are set up in tor to see who visits them often by law enforcement (as read in Wired) or whoever else wants to watch you. It's really easy for someone else to go through all of your internet files, and maybe other stuff in your computer.

Much more downs than ups (imo).

@jwsach yay, further research!

somewhat irrelevant (and off the top of my head) but google likes to prioritize its search results based off how frequent a website updates. Therefore, search results are heavily skewed towards things like blogs and forums. what im saying is...

there is more to the internet than blogs and forums!

The FBI couldn't give two shits if you're browsing sites about drugs and bombs fucksake the anarchists cookbook is about as illegal as half of this shit.

OR all of sufu now has a party van outside their house.

If you want to really be safe with this stuff you should use a VPN. As anonymous says PROTECT YOUR IP ADDRESS AT ALL COSTS.

uh, if anyone is really interested in the "deep web" I would suggest starting "slow" by actually "going" onto "cyber" chat "rooms" and flexing your "street smarts" and "meeting" and "chatting" with "people". Maybe "pirate" some "video" and "sound" and slowly "work" your "way" up "the" food "chain" until "you" are "comfortably" in "the" know "and" trusted "within" a "cyber" gang.

mIRC "might" be "a" good "place" to "start"

otherwise you are looking to get jumped bro

this just seems like a playground for guys that want to steal your identity, watch snuff films and child porn, or look at confidential info that 98% of the time will be irrelevant to them.

parrrttttyyyyy

Had a discussion about the internet (not the WWW) with a teacher a few years ago in class and this came up. Nobody seemed interested to delve further.

I am so tempted to go into the deep web but I'm too afraid to get hacked, raped, arrested by Czechoslovakians, or all three in one day.

I will probably lose a lot of sleep over this and tell all my friends about this tomorrow in an oddly "proud I know this and you don't" way.

This really is some William Gibson shit

And why is everyone assuming the information available is valid? Unless I'm being trolled really hard here.

i like that people here are losing sleep over this revelation and the fine folks at niketalk are for the most part underwhelmed.

just an fyi

be very careful when using anonymizing protocols like tor.

this shit will route traffic through your node you DO NOT want associated with you.

we're talking illegal, stuff to put you away in jail kind of shit.

also, for most of you idiots, stay away from anything considered the 'deep web' unless you know more about computers than you do about clothes. most of is just illegal transactions: buying/selling botnets, zero-day exploit groups, etc. oh, and stupid conspiracy nerds.

not my cuppa tea either.

what really suprises me about this is how are there only 19 terabytes of information on the regular web? This seems severely underestimated no?
