i've probably gone further out of my way than you have (i'm guessing you didn't go much further than the very reputable wikipedia) to research her ethnicity because she's been one of my favorite models for several years

 

there's only one source that says she's 100% brazilian while italian vogue and other sources have said that she has asian blood

i read something less than a week ago saying she'd confirmed her asian heritage on her twitter, but i've yet to investigate that since she has no shortage of tweets, and i can't read portuguese

when i'm provided with such ambiguous information, i look to a person's phenotype, and it would suggest that she's mixed

 

with that said, it's entirely possible she doesn't claim asian ancestry and isn't asian, but at the same time, i don't expect even the individuals or their living family members to have comprehensive records of where/who they came from
