issakM,

i believe a fuller cut that has a wider leg opening often looks better when paired with a chunkier shoe, like a boot.

what kind of shrinkage did you get after your first soak? i agree with b_F, a second soak/machine wash would result in more shrinkage.

I think the inseam is fine on him, a single cuff would help though. Also, don't wear those with vans until they are nice and broken in cause imo, they look a bit sloppy.

And yeah, I agree with everyone else, a machine wash would be good. Personally what I did to get the most shrinkage out of mine though was after a hot soak, and hot wash. I also threw them in the dryer to ensure they got the most shrinkage (I know people don't like that though), but I lost all shrinkage? I have to measure to compare post and pre soak.

the vans are just house shoes.

If the measurements that I initially scribbled down are right- they shrank approx .5" in the waist measured flat, 1.25" in the inseam, .375" in the front rise, and .5" in the rear.

Your shrinkage measurements are almost exactly half of mine, what size are yours IsaakM?

#34 Birmingham, UK

They're 30's

I expected to them shrink more than they did. Maybe my water's not as hot as I thought it was. Guess I'll see what happens after round two.

Oh, And #62 Washington State USA
