IMO we need to have a serious line-up before we talk about prizes. maybe Yuichi can work something out with Samurai. We'll see

I would be in if this comes about after Christmas but monies are tight until then thanks to having to travel for the holidays. I am seriously intersted though.

some say it depends on which leg RHT or LHT is...but on the other hand. every regular pair of just RHT or LHT would then have one "wrong" leg and does anybody have noticed weird or bad fades on one side of his jeans?

as the 7 Samurai are a total voluntary project I don't see a problem to rotate

Excuse my ignorance, but when are the jeans out and how much are they? I'm in NY at the begining of December, and I was going to pick up some new Sams anyway, so if BIG carry them I might well be interested.

they will be released between november and december...that's not fix til now.

If I start making a deal with Yuichi and he'll sponsor us prizes, only the guys buying from him will be in the contest. If there are no prizes it'll be an open for all contest and it doesn't matter where you buy it

don't think there is a wrong leg, as BF pointed out, full LHT or full RHT jeans would have different fades on each leg.

I don't think there would be any place for customization and I doubt we would get the first numbers like they did with the old Samurai contest as we're not going directly through Samura HQ. But is that really important?!

On my RHT denim, I get more leg twist on the left leg than the right. I would think that it is the opposite with LHT, so if the left leg is indeed LHT, there shouldn't be much leg twist at all there.

b_F, is there a limit on the number of contestants for this? If this got really big, would Yuichi be able to handle it?

I'm not sure if he gets problems if the contest gets bigger. Haven't received an answer from him so far.

And I can't guarantee you that there will be a discount other than the 40% off shipping discount he will offer. We have to see how it evolves. I asked him to get in touch with Samurai HQ

I think a one year contest is enough for Samurais?!
