So off to the city yesterday as I needed something what only could be found here:

To buy this stuff

Then we needes some sweets

And what I did later and why I bought the little jar. Repainting the arcs

Right after work I had to do some things and so I got into the car.

Getting rid of old clothes.

Had to decide between "Red Cross" and "Malteser". I went for the latter.

Next stop, the custom office

As the package was from Japan they really controlled it with a radiometer. But it was all ok so I got it and only paid a small fee

GF will come later so I had to buy something for her ;-)

Back home, unpacking the package

The content is not too surprising for all who know me. Snapped a pair with old arcs!

Here in Vechta is an old fortress from the 17th century. Nearby is the city park. So today I visited the so called “Zitadelle”. It was built after a French and a Dutch pattern. The walls of such a fortress in the 17th century weren’t longer build out of stone. They are just thick earth walls.

The Zitadelle as you can see it here is just a small sample they have rebuilded as the original was totally destroyed

Also near the Zitadelle is the “Gulfhaus” where sometimes concerts take place

And there’s a museum. The “Zeughaus”. That building is from 1698

I didn’t had the time to go inside but I took pics of what was displayed around the building.

I did a little trip to Hamburg with my GF on Thursday. But I’ll warn you…my cam died later that day and so I don’t have that many pics.

I did a little trip with my better half to Norderney.

The jeans itself feel pretty nice, but as suspected , about 3 inches to big in the waist. So I will do some crazy stuff during this tourleg , but I won´t be able to wear them to work, but hey, that´s not what matters, right ?
