Okay so I decided to stick a rose in concrete

Unfortunately I only started really getting into photography recently, so my settings were off. ISO was 400..and the resulting noise inside the rose was pretty ugly.

just happened to be there..too bad it isnt straight.

thanks, that day I was using my Canon 50mm f/1.8 (great lens for the price), and I have a Canon 40D, that pic is at 1/320s iso 400.

Will you be using it on a FF body? Its a great lens. If your shooting with a crop body I would recommend the 24L...

i apologize for double posting this, but the fur is visible in the larger version which is what makes this picture IMO

another burning one, i am switching locations tomorrow because the flowerpots just look lame
