You are pursuing photojournalism?

Thank you. And yes I am pursuing photojournalism, although i don't really like to pigeon hole myself into that label.

it was asked before, but maybe overlooked.

Are these pictures taken all from SLR cameras? I have a very good point and shoot, that takes good pictures but of course can't compare to these.

Teach me your ways! haha

also, what site do you all use to host these?

photobucket resizes.

Sorry...i meant to answer this too.

All of mine are either taken on a digital SLR (canon 20d) or a range finder (leica m6). Im assuming most other peoples are too.

I use tinypic or imageshack when tinypic is acting up.

from my recent trip to cambodia. i'm not particularly proud of any of them, and the lighting on many is awful, but they're taken and they're mine and i guess i tried?

Hole in the Wall,

Saw that over the weekend. Alec Soth is a real interesting guy. You can tell he is sort of self concious/critical and I like that about him. That said, I think alot of his niagra work is "cooler" and more reserved than his first book. Not a bad thing, just different, and a little more difficult for me to engage, plus I think his portraits this time around are kind of hit or miss.

Beginning scanning for my website finally, and coincidentally, some of the shit I'm about to up is pretty similar to Alec Soth's older work:
