What should I get the inseam hemmed to if I want a 33 to 33.5" inseam after the first soak?

I'd say 35".

Depends on how long / hot you soak. You will get 3 inches of shrinkage on these eventually if not right away...so you may wanna go 35.5 or 36. If you don't want them long, 35could be fine as well with no stacks / cuff

ya, i've lost thread on my left back pocket as well where i keep a pen, and the inseam on my left leg has come undone near the hem...need to repair that actually...

edit: anybody else feel that this denim is really pretty irregular?? I am noticing much more wear "texture" than I was expecting at first glance. mine are almost slubby, very small slubs, but still, fading with that sort of texture on the seat and thighs. mine have a ton of loom chatter all over as well which i love.

some threads along the back rise are gone now for me as well as some around those hidden rivets. too lazy to do repairs though.

i love this denim. they are pretty fast faders and under light, you can see how slubby they are. they however crock a little weird. especially on the buttonfly as well as this almost vertical fade from the fly to the rivets of the front pockets where creases dont usually form for me..

Got back from Thailand a few days ago! I worn the Eternals most of the time but some days was just to hot outside... i came back to a Sweden with minus 20 degrees outside and just snow everywere! Merry X - mas to all. Will post more pictures after the second washing wich will be in one or two weeks i think...

^it's because of wash regiments like your pair that I look forward to this contest! I believe the more washed pairs will hold their own against the heavy contrast pairs and I can't wait to see how things will look like in a year let alone two!

I had no idea, I didn't carry anything... It was there after I finished winterizing the boat... I think it's from carrying the few huge batteries, but I'm not sure

The Eternals and three different Fjällräven jackets. Bought the top one cause that was the kind I was after. The second one I really like but I already have a winter jacket, plus my brother recently got one exactly the same model and colour. The Down jacket I've kind of passed down to my dad. Wore it today when I was out taking the photos in the WAYJDT.

Also made a foolish attempt to capture the sheen on the jeans.

I've actually not been wearing my 811s that often, as I didn't really want to be in slim jawnz 12 hours a day in the library, but they've actually loosened up enough thankfully.
