Warehouse x Hinoya 2021hxx collaboration jeans in Banner Denim, 1001 cut, and with a longhorn patch. These have been my main pair for daily wear since 2021. The front pocket entries have holes, so they’re on hiatus until I get them repaired. Love the Banner Denim and how easy-wearing the cut is.

Here’s my 1001xx fresh out the wash. These are mostly a yard work, project and summer pant for me as they shrank up in length a bit. Keeps the ankles cool.

I've worn the denim vest quite a bit. I have it in the largest size they offered. I also bought the duck vest one size down (Hiro's opinion was that it was too small but after examining the test photo from Inspiration I liked the look so I got it after the fact from S&S). That light weight kind of denim doesn't seem to show wear very fast. I'll examine it tonight & see if it's worth photographing. As far as practicality goes, it will hold a bunch of stuff especially if sizing up for a loose fit. Pockets everywhere including the internal game pockets. I've considered trying put one of the terriers in there. Might have a go tonight lol. Update - dog didn't quite fit...

I've been spending a lot of time gardening and doing yard work in my pair of Warehouse this spring. Azaleas (pink flowers) and Siberian irises (purple flowers) are currently in bloom. Hopefully, Big Leaf Golden-Ray is next and later Russian Sage and Black-Eyed Susans.

Type 410 three pocket square tail shirt in Achilles' Heel indigo dyed 10oz cross weave denim... now close your eyes and say that again I ummed and ahhed over sizes and could have gone larger but opted for a shirt fit rather than shirt/jacket fit. I'd happily have another one in another fabric (top selection of fabrics kicking around) but would go a size up for layering. This fabric is definitely special, lovely 3D texture and wonderful colour. I gave it a couple of washes before wearing just to be sure to take off any excess dye (safety measure on my part; the shirt has actually had a wash after dyeing, and I understand that the dye is more firmly fixed than in a standard denim). @Cold Summer l've been in it too long, like well before the internet. Between 1986 and 2002 l thought there was just me who was into denim (culture) - l was so stoked to discover Sufu c.2007 (and for some years, Denimbro) that my perspective has been broadened immensely. Between 1986 and 1996 l probably owned a dozen pairs of vintage 501's, and Between 1997 and 1998 l was down to 2 pairs. A pair of 505 and a pair of 501XX. Then l bought my first pair of repro/heritage denims - Lvc 201xx Funnily enough, l think back in 2003 l had 15 pairs of denims and by 2005 l had double that and by 40 pairs l had to have a serious talk with myself. Just realised l've been into it now for nearly 40 years 😮

Between the weight fluctuations and remote working, I've only worn one pair the last few years, the Denime Type 66, McCoy's Era. I haven't made an inventory in a long time, and I'm surprised at some of the pairs I've gotten rid of, like 45rpm, Kapital, Eternal etc. and the ones I've kept. Looks like I went Samurai crazy earlier in my collecting phase, which I'm retired from. This was a tk maxx purchase c.2005 for £25. Made in Tunisia but the fit was spot on so couldn't pass it up. Now lives in London where it gets worn mostly by the Mrs. 6. Living out in the country, I feel ok about owning some garments that combine practicality & vintage vibe, while not necessarily being the most flattering cuts. I consider the Ooe vests to be in that category. There are a lot of items in my closet that never make it further than our acreage & the road that surrounds it. That's ok. They probably get more hours of solid wear than the 'playing a show' / 'going out to somewhere, trying to look cool' pieces. I do have a pretty large vest section in my closet. Some are right for wearing out. There's a nice Rising Sun piece that combines the half moon pockets with an old west vibe. And a Mr Freedom vest that goes with a pair of pants in the same fabric. I have some FW vests too, all of which are great. I've been an avid collector. Apparently it's in my nature...

I made a video where I cover 7 pairs of Acronym pants and 4 pairs of Nike ACG pants from the era where Errolson Hugh was collaborating with them. This has by far been the most detailed video I've ever put together. Acronym wise I cover the pants P30A-DS, P10-E, SP29-M, P39-M, P23A-DS, SP29K-M and P53-WS. ACG wise I cover the pants ACG Cargo Trousers Blue, ACG Cargo Shorts, ACG Cargo Trousers Black, and ACG Deploy Cargo Trousers One thing I always miss from newer Acronym pants is how the phone pockets lack extra webbing to wrap over the top of a phone, this is something that was seen on their pants pre 2022 and is for some reason missing today.

thanks for the vote of confidence @julian-wolf! Jared's advice above is pretty much how I wear my post overalls vest that has the nearest dimensions (but is a lightweight material); they go weirdly well with cut off military cargos / shorts (or oversized Nigel Cabourn) and logo t-shirt more than 'heritage' / 'rugged' stylistic agenda... This upcoming Ooe offering is fairly heavy material? The downwards bellow of the style is pretty equivalent to a chore coat but without the balance of the sleeves and collar: it has to be balanced by something else... The half-moon pockets are absolutely design grail for me, but is not something that pairs easy with a Canadian tux... am currently looking over recent-ish filson vests (80s/90s) too; has the half-moon on one side, with less bounce at the bottom, and pockets for days... but these def. lean away from elegance into something more blocky and very much pointing to external wear, not desk warrior... also quite a fan of this one from Soundman...

Very nice but too small for me.
