  4. evo update on the 1937ish: 5 month of almost everyday wear, 4 washes, no further significant shrinking... they come with red tab btw but its quite short, therefore almost invisible at least in the photos overall I am quite happy with em an consider buying another pair

  7. For TCB 30s you can just take your waist size. It fits true to the measurements on the website. The seat is generous enough to size down once if you want a trimmer look, or you can size up once or twice if you want to wear them like a TCB guy in the instagram pictures. I wear size 34 in 30s, 40s, tabbys work pant, cats drive, the new 1890. 50s jeans I wear size 36 because the 34 is too tight in the seat.

  8. The 47 Version offers the new "Banner denim" instead of the XX denim the 220A uses

  9. I was honestly a little worries about messing up the upholstery on our 1940's vintage Russell Wright? chairs, but thankfully all the rivets on these have been hammered (or even stamped) down flat, including the ones on the coin pocket. To be fair, it's been so hot I have yet to wear them at home, only at the office/lab where there is no choice other than long pants and I have no furniture concerns

  10. I'm sure Bears and Hinoya will have them in stock when they drop. Or you can just proxy from WH's website.

  11. Sedgwick bridle (but with the tallow buffed off this time), lambskin, hi-dome jewels and nickel plated steel hardware … a wee bit more old school

  12. No, haven't seen a chart, sorry. Honestly, I'm not very interested in the myriads of models Warehouse is pumping out now for Denime.

  13. People get so scared of marbling their jeans in the wash, but it always looks so cool when they do get marbled. Good shit.

  15. I originally was planning on it but I haven’t heard any further details so maybe I slipped through the cracks. Not a big deal either way since I was only participating to track along. I have and had no illusions of seriously competing. Here are a few more fit pics of the jeans in natural light (way too hot for the jacket today). The lighting is still not ideal for fit pic details of the jeans but at least it was good for what I set out to take photos of. Like Bartleby showed, the pockets on both the jeans and jacket are nice and big on these. Maybe the biggest that I have seen. I can fit a small notebook into any of the pockets. The rise is very high for a size 32 as well. It must crack at least 12.5”. Still need to measure them myself.

  17. Deadstock Frye, a few days wear. Starting to break in a bit, getting creases and rolls. Definitely don't make them like they used to.

  18. There surely will be some wool accs as ms exclusives imo, i personally would love to see some leather gear! Some kind of vest or jacket with spikes would match the current vibe.

  21. Vintage 1940s/50s Nocona Pee Wee cowboy boots with Sawtooth inlay in chocolate kangaroo. Made in Nocona Texas. They require little repairs every couple of wears but they're is nothing like them.

  22. Vintage deadstock Frye boots. Seller said they were a sample on display in a flagship store. They smell like an old motorcycle jacket. Super Solid. Reminds me a little of the Clinch cowboy boots by Brass Show Co. A little sturdier and more structured with thicker soles and no toe embellishment. Tea core leather too. Should last forever.

  23. Received my Alden loafers today, for factory seconds they seem to be pretty solid! There's some small cosmetic flaws but nothing that I'd think too much about for the price. It's surprising how comfortable they are right off the bat, no break in period needed. The moc stitching is a little disappointing since I've seen photos of the LHS versions, but given the price I paid I'm happy with these. Feel like I've officially reached peak menswear.
