this coming from you: calvin oscar, actually makes me want to watch it more.
you think tim roth is a douche? in the series, his movies or in real life? and why? i've held him in high regards as an actor.

a little of both. in the series, he's supposed to be playing this cool, lie-detector weirdo with swagger, but he just looks like a fool. look at the way he walks next time you watch, or the way he (has to?) wear his pants all sagged and stuff. i really think he comes off as an annoying asshead

you really think this show is good? what is good about it? i can't stop nitpicking at this shit while watching this on hulu.

i mean it's not great, but imo it's definitely not as terrible as you exaggerate it is. i just think maybe you're nitpicking minor details. i've seen most of his films and that limey has got presence. you can't deny that he's a good entertainer.
anyway not a really bid deal that we disagree her or anything. i don't care, but was curious. actually when you answer "a little of both," you haven't elaborated why he might strike u as a douche off screen or in other movies...

i guess what im saying is that his performance/character in lie to me kind of detracted from his persona as a whole, off-screen or in other movies. so i guess my statement of "a little of both" was a bit inaccurate/unclear.

i just don't like at all how people will beast on a shitty series because it has a pretty good actor in it, or hype on any other movie for the same reason, etc. not saying you are. but i mean, this is superfuture, so we see that every day with regards to clothing and otherwise.

i don't think that the retail-beasting whatever vs. tim roth "the douche" is a good or fair comparison. i mean people beasting on clothing and shit is because of the media or because people have hyped shit. sure this could be true for actors/film, but lie 2 me and time roth were never really popular. arguably the most media exposure in america roth got was probably some shit like pulp ficiton. and nobody really beasted or really gave a shit about his performance cause they were too busy with sam jackson saying "muthafucka/bad muthafucka" ,john travolta's long hair or the use of "nigger(s)."

true blood got really good in the middle-end. A lot, if not all HBO shows start off slow but it pays off in the end.

and nothing is as good as the wire.

Anyone have anything to say about how blatently gay/annoying Andy Zimmern or however the fuck you spell his name is?

The bizarre foods guy really pisses me off...

I was watching an ep yesterday and he was in Singapore and there was a place where doctors diagnose you and perscribe you food depending on what is ailing you...

To no surprise it was determined that he needed to eat deer penis...which he seemed to really enjoy

Love the premise of the show, just cant stand that guy

Feel me?

looking for a good funny show, I recommend Party Down

FT2DOz2McW8

I would explain more, but here, why dont you just watch it instead. NOTE THIS IS EDITED, YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO CATCH THE UNEDITED, PREF ON STARS ON DEMAND.

xSs-pJ5qX6c

i also really recommend party down. theres only one season and you can watch them on demand. just re watched the whole first season yesterday.

i think im in love with lizzy caplan (carry).

isn't it weird when you see somebody watching a comedy show like it's always sunny in philadelphia and NOT laugh. just sitting by themself watching it.

but then when you do laugh at it by yourself, you feel like like a loser.

There needs to be a good new cooking show

I could do 10 more seasons of Top Chef with the current panel. Padma is fine as hell and was married to Rushdie and is just great in general. If you want high-level culinary stuff, there are always the regular high-profile chefs.

That Gordon Ramsay show is the worst thing ever.

Eating weird stuff isn't really the premise I look for in a food show.

Man vs Food was really good. I also like The Cheeseburger Show.

my favorite food network cooking shows are dinner impossible and good eats. i didn't used to like ace of cakes but it grew on to me. i never got into watching those competition series like top chef / hell's kitchen even thought i know i wouldn't mind watching 'em.

Do they have "Come Dine With Me" in the US? 5 people take turns to cook a dinner party and they score each other. It's pretty funny.

they have that on german tv and its so funny

after every scene it flashes to some 'home dining expert' who gives an in-depth analysis of what just happened and what could have been done better. this is the funniest part.

its also great to see the dumb and tacky things these people do. decor is pretty much rated based on how much everything matches by being the exact same colour as everything else in your house with bonus points for gaudiness.

in one of the two episodes i watched, a guy broke a piece of fish while plating it. his solution was to halve every other piece of fish as well, and only serve half portions. you're not a restaurant, stop trippin.

Must be slightly different over here, in the UK there is just a voiceover criticising them sarcastically during the whole program.
