where do you guys typically order your sammies from? My friends interested in some 5000vx's, ones the ship internationally and accept paypal.

I just sort of skimmed threw the thread. So the rule is size down 2. after sizing down 2 do you guys still go with a soak?

Further to what Beatle was saying (I've been furthering your statements a lot...am I pissing you off Beatle;) ), only size down 2 if they're older stock, size down 1 otherwise.

That's exactly what I meant...

Size down 2 on any pair made before 2007, and only one on any made in 2007..

The lot number won't help that much - since they are depending on the actual model...

You always have to soak...sizing down 2 on any Samurais made in 2007 is suicide ...

not suicide by any means, i sized down two on my 2007s..

but it is damn risky, even at their most stretched out, shits is tiiiight. no sagging thats for sure.

Can I get a little clarification on this? My true waist in 38. My lot 9 S510's are a tagged 36. Stupid question, but does that count as having sized down by one (waist size) or by two (inches)?

With the smaller lot 10's, I'm not sure if I would need a 36 or a 38 in S5000BK's.

are there no 37s? like i said, going down two can be done, but its not the most comfortable option.

yo, i've noticed that my 510 19oz.2's say "made in the United States". what's up with that? i thought all sammies were made in osaka, and these are the only ones ive seen with a US patch. are they loomed in japan, and then stiched here, or what? this is confusing. i know this is an especially noob-ass question for me to ask, but what the dilly? info is highly appreciated.

Where exactly do they say that? I've never noticed it on mine.

it says"made in the United States" on the right top corner banner, in the same place as it says"made in osaka, japan" on all the other sams that ive seen with my own eye:confused: i would post a pic, but i always hot water wash my baby's, and dry them on the hottest heat possible. dammit, i should've been more keen off bat, and asked yuji before i left the store. i talked to him for hours that day, and asked him a hundred questions, but none about the patch...shit!

this is a perfect example of situational irony. ive been wanting to post denim-porn like beatle, and dick danger, and poly, but i didn't have constant e-access, or a camera. now that im visiting ma dukes, i have both, and i've machine-washed them(hot water, the 510's thighs are big) and high-heat @ least 4 times, and i soaked them in boiling hot water. now the patch looks like sun-dried sushi.

Well - you could still post a pic...

something told me you would say that, beatle. and ive been lusting after your jean-porn so long that i simply cannot deny your request to see one pic. so as soon as i arise in the morn, im gonna have my baby sis take the indigo smut and post it just for you. oh, beatle, have you ever heard of this anomaly?

Holy shit.

I sized down one on my Geishas, those were made in 2005 weren't they ?

its because the cotton is from the us.

rumor has it that samurai, and maybe some other brands, will have limited runs of made in the USA jeans in the future...
