I've been buying jeans from Raul (dieselofmiami) for going on 5 years. He's a very friendly and helpful guy as well as a professional seller. He comes highly recommended. One thing to keep in mind is that some of his merchandise are factory seconds and not always marked as such. He's generally very good about looking for flaws, but once in a while he'll miss something. Just keep that in mind...

I will try and take some when I get home. I don't have much experience with regular evisu denim, but this denim FEELS very nice. I think someone mentioned that the original no.0 denim was 17oz, and this does feel heavy but not quite as heavy as my S500VX did, but that's a qualitative measure so it's possible that this one is also 17oz

Ok so my measurements are 37" waist (ouch!), 13.5" thigh, 36" inseam, 9" leg opening and 15" back rise.

Pix of the bag first, very nice soft light blue cloth (appears to be indigo dye) and all the decoration is white paint:

Now the jeans. I got plain (no paint) back pockets. I can add more pix upon request.

The only other evisu I have is a no1 special that I got used, so I dont think it's a fair comparison.

I can barely button these up, so I will probably save fit pix until after I soak and stretch the waist out a bit. A measured waist 37" is pretty small for a tagged size 38 STF jean... :(

Yeah...my 2000s were tagged 34 and an actual 32 presoak...turned out alright though. They came in the same bag and with the same waistband label too... :)

Good luck with the shrinkage etc, I'm looking forward to seeing what they look like with some wear on them.
