thanks ben, it's ok don't worry abt the rep =)

i'm thinking about the jacket but at us350 its a bit steep, cond is dead nice though, one more thing - there's no inside tags whatsoever for some reason.

lmaozedong - it is a 38 (my size) but the price is kinda expensive (see above) - let me know if you're still keen and i can try to speak to the owner and see if he can bring the price down a bit more.

i dont really have that kind of money right now unfortunately....bought a bunch of vintage denim last month (couple of evis, will post pics later)

there was this local thrift store owner who had 8-10 pairs of vintage evis, everything in near deadstock condition including a pair of rare no.1 special 2504xx with stitched gulls, someone came and dropped us4k on the whole lot before i had the chance to get some pics :(

he still have some jackets, will try to drop by tomorrow evening and take pics to share.

'Dowluck' is the Cantonese(ish) way of pronouncing the two characters often seen painted or printed on some of the Evisu/Dowluck stuff:

The first character means 'way' (it's the last character in 'judo', 'karatedo' etc) and the second one means 'pleasure' or 'joy' , in Chinese at least. Not sure of whether they have any special meaning in Japanese though, nor how they're pronounced together.

Google translates the two characters together as 'debauchery'... :)

I take it you've seen this site:

Its the Fishing clothing/equipment side of Evisu. Also ran and owned by Yamane. Same thing with his golf line. Something to do with Yamanes loves i remember, those being Money, Beer, Fishing, Women. I dunno cant remember the marketing talk right now.

Mine hasn't got any tags but i can see the outline of where the leather tag should be. I would of said i would take the jacket as im not that keen on going out with mine as the daicock is abit bright but mine cost me £18 and i think even deadstock $350 is abit much.

Im amazed someone dropped 4k on those thought. Would love to of seen some of it. I need some deadstock Evis bits.

oh yeah, i saw the site. as the son of a fish-a-holic, i must say the site is dope! if i am ever able to afford it... i love how yamane-san seems to have a great sense of humor, and he never wears matching outfits.

I can see the outline as well of where the patch used to be, if it had one. you're lucky to find one for so cheap...Evis is hard to come by over here and most time even if you find a pair they're probably in such a worn state that you can't really wear them anymore.

i'm still regretting not taking any pics earlier, thought that with such high prices they would been on the racks for a long time. not taking chances, going down tonight to take pics of the jackets at the store before they're gone as well.

oh and thanks for the DS pics of the jacket. + repped =)

Beautiful as ever, Crash. I have a crotch repair looming myself. Any tips for running the machine?

Also scored a Macau-made Evisu jacket in XXXL! Gonna rip out the embroidered dragons (lul, wtf) and try getting some wear in this fall/winter.

thanks =)

will probably wear them occasionally for that special occasion or two, right now concentrating on breaking the pair of #1 Specials that i got recently first...

The 2504 is unhemmed but the 2501 had a bad hem job so i took them to re-chain stitched them.

The other pair of 2504xx is currently getting chainstitched, hopefully will get them back soon so i can take some pics.

I'll have the 2501s, fankooverymuchly!

Seriously though, nice denims. You planning on wearing any of them now, or saving them for a rainy day?

And have they been hemmed or not?

I took 'em to a local bespoke tailor and asked him to sort it out, my seamstress skills are somewhat lacking haha!

He used some old D85 denim from a pair of jeans I found for a few quid in a charity shop in Manchester... It's the best looking worn D85 I've ever seen :)

As are mine :D

Seems sound, I'll have to ask the guy I use to try it.
