nope. I am pretty short. I am like 5'4 and i measured it and it's a 33inseam right now. i have to cuff it about 3 inches or so to minimize stacks.

i was expecting the thigh area to be smaller but right now i still have room. my first initial soak was with mild water for 30 minutes. the 2nd was short wash, hot water on delicate wash. and then third was short wash with hot water on delicate wash again but with a 30 minute dryer session. no improvements after the 2nd short wash.

maybe i should either do a FULL hot wash or ONE boil hot soak

but i feel like the shrinkage hasnt been all out yet. i have this spider feeling that that shit can shrink a bit more if i use the hottest water.

Go ahead and do it. It won't really hurt anything. Maybe the patch will be burnt to a crisp, but meh.......

You do know just because you shrink these now doesnt mean they wont relax in a couple weeks...

To me your getting to the point where your ruining the denim for no real reason. If you wanted a tight skinny jean then this isnt ever going to be it.

^ these are the 2000s fit. and yes they are no.1 . Yea i understand the fit of these, but looking at the 29 measurements I thought these would fit similar to the my sammies s0500xx in a size 29.

these 2000s are tapered, no? the 2000's should be "slimmer" than the 20001, correct?

Paulo, can you explain, what do you mean by it wont relax in a couple weeks?

He means they'll stretch a little from continuous wear. But soaking them again, if you feel the fit is off, won't hurt anything. Indigo lose from soaking will be negligible.

Has anyone tried tapering evisu's ? I realize the fit is supposed to be what it is but I really would like a pair slimmer in the thighs (at least). I bought a pair of No.2 Lot 2000 from Hinoya on Rakuten a while back but ended up selling them because I didnt like the fit.

Should I get a pair of No.1 and try to keep the waist rom shrinking ? or just tailor a pair... ?
