Tonight, I'm going to see this Live. so I've been preparing in great anticipation, by making regular sittings listening to an original release copy of it.

This album was (obviously...don't laugh) made for vinyl. you just can't capture the artwork anymore on a downloadable track or cd.

just dig everything about it, have since i was about 10 years old...

and of course i love my Beogram 3000...this thing was paired with some B&O speakers, but those remain at my dad's place. can't wait till I get those. though i did pick up some B&O headphones and they're amazing!

will have pics or vids from the show later tonight or tomorrow.

quite the spectacle. if it comes to your city, definitely worth the ticket price...I didn't really know what to expect, I own the movie and have seen video of the live shows before. but seeing this live is another experience. it is just plain huge. plus we had great seats (a bit off center, but oh well.) once in a lifetime concert for sure. overdramatic? sure. but hell, still poignant today. the updated imagery and content was damn right.

Started out the day with a cup of coffee and breaking in my new KMW 1950 buckle backs. The fit is just about perfect, but could use a little more stretch in the hips and waist.

Then I spent some time making patterns for some new stuff.

And after lunch, carved some pumpkins with the little one.

Can't forget to roast the seeds! Rinse, and add a little Fleur de sel sea salt and a a touch of garlic powder. So good!

Took ages this week to sew her mummy costume together, but she loved it

We froze our butts off in the 40F and rain, so I came home for a nip, and am off to curl up and watch The Great Escape on DVD. Skál!

all of us???listen son,being in my 40ies my body is in perfect shape,women on the streets turning their heads,thinking "wow,what a rocket!",compared to other posters,i dont have to get up 3 times a night for a pee(or-,even worse-in a pub),so no need for me being sad.but tell me more of your office life,what politics do you mean?spending 3 hours with the copymachine doesnt sound exciting at all.
