same here, product of hawaii's pubic school system (and yes, i mean pubic)... a lot of friends graduated from punahou though...and all of them are ace in my book. anyhow, i use myspace as a networking tool (im a hiphop/drum n bass mc, and spoken word poet). it also helps that there are hapa (half asian) girls hopping about by the motherload....and im all. about. hapa. girls.

that's basically the appeal. everyone gets to create and design their own space... and so they flood it with disgusting design and useless shit.

it's also just a hub for people to feel popular, in with the music scene (friends with bands, etc.) and to have their pictures viewed and commented on by the world.

it's just high school all over again. that's it really.
