Some really crazy titles on there. I only wish they would publish English versions of their mags. I'm curious to see what they are actually saying in some the articles and how accurate their facts are.

How's the sizing on those Buzz Rickson Tanker jackets? Every measurement I look at seems off in some way.

choice there is a buzz rickson thread, you can ask the guys on the leatherjacket forum, or just write clever id and let them measure it for you. i have the N1 from buzz rickson and they are cut supersmall, the large fits like a small or trim cut medium

Here's one of my winter jackets in rotation, a Navy Issue Peacoat from 1952.

Original owner's Petty Officer 1st Class Rating. He was a storekeeper:

I love this coat, especially the rating - but it gets me into lots of questions with rather marginal folks - and saluted once by an active duty Marine. If it weren't original to the coat I'd probably take it off, but since it's original, I won't.

I have a 1967 (last year for the corduroy pocket liners) But it's a size 44 and I just too big. If anyone has one in a 42 that they feel is too small.....

Honestly, I've been surprised at how big it is - it's a 44 and I had to move the buttons a bit to make it more fitted. Not much, just a little big on each side.

Al's Attire is AMAZING. It's tucked into a little neighborhood in northbeach, but it is seriously worth a stop. They have extremely pretty stock items in there, but they will do WHATEVER you want.

I found this jacket at a flea market. It has no markings, yet I assume it to be of military origin, however which military is in question. I'm pretty sure it's denim, its green and blue though. Has a cigarette pocket and metal belt hooks on the back also cinched waist. I think that's selvage, but I'm not sure. Still pretty good find for 30 bucks.
