My Buzz Rickson khakis have arrived. How's the fit? I'm not used to wearing stuff this baggy.

Why are you selling them? They look great on you.

They look fine but I have no practical use for them. Not only do I rarely have a reason to wear khakis, but I find that I'm not very comfortable wearing something so high on my waist. I like pants with a higher rise, but these are a little extreme.

edit: also, they're only really wearable with one or two of my shirts.

The rise does look crazy. I usually wear jeans with back rises the same as the front rise on those!

I've got a pair of officer's chinos that I wear with a t-shirt all the time. Light and comfortable for the summer.

i love my buzz rickson chinos. the only problem for me are the pockets i always feel i am going to loos my keys or my zippo. i am to much used to horizontal openings

I was going to wait to sell my 42s but I needed a pair in case a dressy situation arose. Anyway, I got the Original Spec chinos, and while I think the fit is good, they're a little too slim. I mean, they're pretty perfect right now, but they'd be too tight if my legs got any bigger. We'll see.

I don't know of any bag that was Navy issue. You could take a barracks bag and customize it with a strap and flap closure fairly easily (please do it to a repro, the real ones are hard enough to come by).

Bad bad picture but can anyone guess the country of origin on this coat?

The sizing info says 46N and it measures about 18.5" pit to pit. There's a name written on a button in the collar, it looks like Adrian Kanner.

got this American Field and Sportswear vintage hunting jacket from Jantiques in Tokyo last week for a nice price, it's a much nicer fit than I would have expected, really nice little details on it too.

i just got a buzz rickson navy peacoat, and i have to say that it lives up to the hype in every way. there have been plenty of pics posted of these, so i won't bother, but the fit is spot-on, the quality is outstanding, and it's very warm and comfortable. my favorite detail may be the corduroy pockets, those feel great.
