To much talk, not enough pictures. My combs remind me of the combs on my skulls. I had a bad week. No car, i've been biking maybe 50 minutes each day. 25 minutes to school and 25 minutes home. I usually walk up 4 stories every other day to get to my class because the elevators are always crowded / stinky.

so my previous concerns are actually looking pretty silly. they are starting to fade quickly because they are thin but heavy oz denim but i biked in the rain about 8 miles yesterday (yes random rainstorm in santa barbara wtf...) and i barely lost any indigo from them at all...i was soo worried biking during the first downpour then i was just like ehh..fuckit - they're just jeans - if they turn white in 3 months who cares. but when they dried, they had barely lost any indigo whatsoever - noticeable, but substantially less than first soak and nothing like what i expected. the dying process is pretty stayfast i think despite these wearing quickly.

I've been mountain biking in mine 4 or 5 times now. Come August I think these are going to look pretty insane. Unfortunately I have to rotate these with a few others, but my SExSC06 are already fairly good along so I'm looking forward to seeing how everything looks after the summer.

Color's not quite right, didn't take the time to mess with the white balance much. Also angled lighting so some bits look a bit more washed out than in real life (for instance the white spot on the right side of the rear is not actually white).

I don't own a car, so lots of biking and walking and working on my feet (though I'm returning to my old job which doesn't allow wearing jeans... bummer)

yeah, these lose indigo quickly. after 1 weekend of wear, i noticed indigo loss on the back pockets. i'm a grad student. i sit around all day. this shouldn't happen, should it? ah well. maybe i'll have some white pants in time for memorial day.

A sz30 in Imperials, any reference on what sz for these?

As far as fading goes I'd say that these jeans fade very quickly to another shade of blue, but from there it just fades into more and more beautiful blues.

I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about.

I won't hate on you even though this question has been asked many times...in the other thread. The best way to go with these jeans for a more fit look is find the smallest thigh size you can tolerate most and get whatever corresponding size it matches...more info in the other thread though if you want more opinions.

If you want a similar fit to the imperials, measure out your thigh on your pair and match it up with the chart on these jeans on the SE site. Keep in mind these do tend to stretch...

the thighs will stretch when you wear them, but they shrink when you soak em- the denim is unsanforized. self edge's has some info so you can adjust the sizes on the list accordingly.

well, i have size 30 imperial shearers. i got sz 30 db's, i think i coulda sized down to a 29, but they are boarderline inbetween. im 5'8" 160lbs for reference.
