if one of my friends asks i usually just go "hey hey" and do this sort of limited motion dance where i stand still and sort of bob at the knees while doing different hand motions all very slowly and nothing too far away from the position im already in

hope this helps

lol..

@ op: Maybe just try telling the person whats really up? Like "Oh just walkin home from work" or whatever. I don't think anyone likes hearing "Not much." It is like the most braindead response

i dunno about this whole "telling people what's really up" thing. when i'm dissolving a dead hooker's body in a bathtub full of lye and i get a call asking me what's up, it's way easier to just say "not much man, what you doin?"

see everything seems so cliche now.

its like how when "DA BOMB" got murdered in early 2000, but instead of one word or terminology sounding played its nearly all of black slang.

its the internet swear2gd.

or you can say "chicken butt" and have the other party look at you in a strange way, then you can actually say what you want.

example:

A: What's up?

B: CHICKEN BUTT

A: <NEG>

B: But seriously, I need a job to cop some jawns.

my usual responses (that aren't "not much, you?"):

a) same shit, different pile

B) i) what the dill?

ii) what the dill, pickle? (if i'm feeling witty)

iii) what the dilly, yo? (if i'm feeling nostalgic)

wow, i'm a loser.
