from the perspective that i don't know you at all, i just get the vibe that some of the stuff you post are cliche things that will get you followers as opposed to things you are actually into. again, nothing wrong with that--im just over-assuming and being a hater of your efame. forget me and keep doing what you doing...caus that's what tumblr is

Can anyone recommend any really subject specific tumblrs? Say only 80's gifs or something?.. something besides fyeah this or sweet interior/homestyles.

i'm not trying to call people out but it seems weird that you'd hate on shit but then like freecat and barrybonds since just taking a look at them (never read them before) they look like 95% of other tumblrs

at least slighted has some original content / mixes up some interesting graphic design alongside the usual #hotbabeswhatever #shitillneverown

guilty on that one, 80% of my posts are reblogs, 15% is stuff i find on random websites and forums and the rest is stupid pictures i took with my phone. i don't post any original content at all and nothing i created.

i don't really see my tumblr as a portfolio or something that is me, i just post stuff that i like (instead of saving them on my hdd) and if people like it then that makes more of us ... although this process is ultimately rather unproductive at least it's entertaining (for now).

I only I started a tumblr to keep an online archive of photographers I like while studying it and I kind of never stopped.

Sooo I definitely agree with freecat in that (for me too) tumblr is more entertaining than productive now that thesis is complete.

i really dig onyxearth. posts alot of 60-70s nat geo scans and otherwise hippie bodhisattva heartland type shit. i found it through one of erik brunetti's many propaganda blogs.
