Its because of the levis law thing,they dont allow other companys to have sewn a tab between the rearpockets,not in japan though..

I was aware of the Levis crap but I thought that was with red tabs, wtf.

For reference I'm 5'11" 150lbs. I wear size 28 in SExI04, my jeans usually measure 31ish" in the waist after having been worn in.

I say they are too big because when I wore them I could easily pull the waist out a good inch, so after they break in a bit, they'll be way too big.

I would say these fit about one size bigger than a true waist measurement, but I would be perfectly content getting my true waist size.

the other guy got it in detail --

1. no tab of any color or red fabric/stitching in between the yoke and the back pockets.

2. no depiction of any two mobile objects pulling (anything, including) a pair of jeans apart on the leather patch.

3. any stitched design on the back pocket(s) cannot resemble two arcs meeting at their ends in a diamond shape.

all of this applies exclusively to sales made in the US.

I remember reading about them patenting the phrase "Every Garment Guaranteed" also.

Yeah, I second this. My true size would be 30, and I believe (Kiya or Sidney correct me on this if I'm wrong) the samples were 29. I would be happy wearing the 29's, 30's would probably be just getting too baggy for my tastes, 28's would fit pretty snug (minimal give in the waist) initially, 27's would be playing the walk-out-of-the-store-in-pain-and-hope-to-god-they-stretch game.
