use to be at that down town 24hour joint. but now my job requires me to stay within half hour of work when i'm on call. so now i will lift at renton 24 hour. only like 2 days a week max. more consistent with muay thai/bjj with buddies ~ 2 days a week.

i have since lost about 8 lbs. not really wanting to be like that anymore. too much work, clothes didn't fit. i'm a bit slimmer and getting more lean, which are my goals as well as being more functional in my strength.

knucks - du, you're thick as all hell!

hailxenu - looks good, great chest development. only thing I'd work on is back thickness. I'd say hit them legs harder too, but this is a fashion forum and most people want to fit into slim jawnz (me and my thunder thighs included). overall looks great though

I'm currently 6'2 and about 160 pounds but I've always had huge quads when compared to the rest of my body from years of basketball. I'm currently losing weight from cardio, but do you think that my quads will shrink from the weight loss as well, or just get bigger because I'm doing a lot of running?

Dude they're totally going to get bigger. Better stop running and stop playing sports like hockey, soccer, or basketball.

While this is becoming the gay meet-and-greet thread:

old pic from my puffier period. I dropped from to 150 now from Muay Thai. My traps and chest have always been big, I need bigger arms.

That sounds like a fine idea. I'm only 5'11 and I think you're taller, so I might get a gorilla thing, but whose going to tell a gorilla that he's got stupidly long arms for his body? Nobody, that's who.

why the fuck are situps so hard for me?

my whole upper body is much more developed than the rest of my body with the exception of my thighs.

how are you guys working on your abs?

You probably have weak hip flexors. Do decline crunches with different speeds and angles to work the abs.

Planks are good as an initial core exercise. Just make sure your back is flat, no sagging of the hips allowed. Try planks raising one arm for 15 seconds, then the other arm, and so on for 2 minutes. Do it without twisting your body or changing your form at all to compensate for the lost point of contact.
