superfine

raf by raf

earnest sewn do them for womens, dunno about mens

ksubi did them once

john galliano apparently

but judging by the fact you said reasonable price go with the nudies. do you want matte or glossy coating?

Pudel doesn't cost too too much more than nudies and seem so much better.

Fuck really. I've never really looked at how cheap you can find Nudie. I was thinking 185ish. Blackbird has that pudel for 235 i think. Not a bad price at all.

just gotta hunt for the sales. they aren't rare or anything...

Theres waxed/rubberised coats (heavy texture, feels grippy), PU coats (glossy DH style, wears off) and then the Thin Finn type coat, which develops a sheen with time.

This season McQ and Drkshdw/RO have waxed finishes. I'm a fan of the Acne Max Cash too, which is more like the Thin Finn.

oh yes. im a size 27 and the hem isnt suffocatingly skinny. just a nice slim profile. i think helmut jeans work best at an optimum/maximum size of 28 for a classic/italian cut. the other cuts don't work if you want a skinny look.

and coincidentally i think there is a sz 27 on the bay right now.

Looking for black coated jeans either .. def going to research some shit.. i hate the ones that are too shiny

nudies are probably the cheapest, not very familiar with other black coated jeans but nudies, whilst being nudie, is a pretty nice subtle coating, nothing too loud

nudie makes their black coated colour in slim jims, thin finns, and average joes. I got the slim jims. sry for noisy pic

Im selling some of julians reds limited run ( 50! ) d2 sorrows - amazing tightly woven black X black selvedge with a thin coating. Shameless plug I know but they are the nicest coated jeans ive come across yet - really on another level to fashion brands and much more artisanal - ie dope.

I also have some indigo wax coated Kohzos I could sell, these are amazing and very very different...
