You have a very good taste in music. I think Ovalprocess is always in my top 3, depending on my mood that day.

A lot of people say 1930 is one of Merzbow's best but there are at least 3 discs from the Merzbox that I like more.

1930 was my first real exposure to Merzbow, so it has more of a nostalgic feel than the others. That, and I frequently used to fall asleep while listening to it, so I think it has burrowed a permanent spot in my head. My (other) top 3 from Merzbow are probably Venereology, Rainbow Electronics, and Tauromachine. Though it all sounds the same, right?

On Oval, I don't think I have disliked anything Popp has output. Maybe Dok...

I think that happens to a lot of people. It is a very good album and somewhat accessible.

I also like Merzbeat, Bastard Noise, Magnesia Nova, Frog, A Taste Of..., Timehunter and few more. I have a pretty big collection of his music but unfortunately it doesn't land in my player as often as few years ago.
