I bought the brown backpack for myself. Despite its boxy appearance, the bag seems to look alright when worn, and compared to last season's bag, it actually has a much larger main compartment. I have found that the pouches on the sides and front are much more useable. Last season, the only really useful mini compartment was the top one, and when the bag wasn't full, anything inside this compartment caused the bag to look collapsed, thus covering the supreme box logo. Lastly, I do think that the shoulder straps from this season could have been done a little better because they seem rather cheap, resembling a standard Eastpak from Target. And no metal buckles? Overall, I think its a decent bag made of pretty good material. Hope this helps.

i think generally they mark up as cost price per item is quite high for supreme

third party retail is always higher, i wouldn't be surprised if ch4 put some kind of distributor markup above the "wholesale" they give to LA.

the thing with cmonwealth is that they stock a lot of brands... unless the whole line is selling well it's not worth it. they stopped selling f/w 07 iirc.

hype this season has been on a much larger range of items but it wasnt this crazy last year or years before that..

I think the website generated alot of hype as it gave people away from the stores a chance to beast over the cut & sew.

markup is alot in 3rd party Supreme outlets. From what i know stores have to pay retail on goods (or at least close to it). For example tees at Nomad in TO are $60, and the leather bomber was $1000 ( i know ridiculous)

I'm sure that wouldnt have been the case if Supreme allowed online sale of their items. Considering all the hoopla around this brand its really sobering to hear that the stuff doesnt always fly off the shelves. But then there are always a few items each season that no one seems to want.

I doubt it. Cmonwealth is one of the most hyped up streetwear stores, carrying some of the most hyped up brands. And even IF Supreme wasn't selling, they would be stupid to drop the line as it creates and generates interest and directs traffic towards the store. Why does Dodge still produce the Viper? That car doesn't sell at all but the attention it brings the brand is worth it.

im quite aware of the term,Im not gonna start a argument over it,lost leaders only work if you can buy small orders if they wer having to buy alot of stock(and supreme tend to send what they want i believe)then it becomes not worth it for either party as supreme wont like seeing alot of thier gear on sale.saying that i couldnt really care less why they dont stock anymore as it dosent affect me in the slightest.

From having spoken with another small Supreme account, they weren't thrilled about having to take some of the higher ticket items as they struggled to sell more than the sweats, caps and t's but Supreme want you to take a full representation of their range to hold an account.
