I can't seem to get this fit right. How do I get the stacking to look natural? Looks fine from the side and fucked up and jagged from the front. Legs are all bunched the hell up. Annoying.

Should I just abandon N&F and figure the fit ain't me?

I think the fit looks great!

Maybe a bit too long but I like it.

Very nice. I'm wearing the same jeans since I'm assuming those on the deep indigo jeans from your last posts. They look really good. Cant wait for mine to fade a little more define since the fades are starting to slowly come in. How many months are you at Z.

i've had them for 5 months, but actual wear is at 13 weeks. so 3 months pushing 4. i've been wearing them really hard, and they've already seen a wash.

This is what you do. You pull your jeans up to your knee, it will force the jeans to stack. Leave it there for 10 mins or so. Depending on how stiff your jeans are, you might want to spray some water from a bottle.

After that, pull down the jeans and they will stack much better.

This is my first post here. My very first pair of raw denims were these WG Indigo Selvage TTS. I went TTS because of my thighs.

So here are pics of 5 months of wear. But I've owned them for 9 months. No washes/soaks so far.

ENJOY!

quick question, how much have your weirdguy's stretched out from the original measurements?

in the thighs, quite a lot. quarter to half an inch. they were skin tight when I got them, and have stretched to a very comfortable "just off the leg" skinny fit.

waist, and inch maybe. I always wear a belt with them which keeps em up above the sag point, so they haven't stretched all that much.

another thing to note, and a question to any of you with some good wear on your pairs (or post soak / wash). these had very little texture when I got them, but after a soak / wash and a bit of hard wear, as the fabric ages, they're picking up some really nice texture in both warp and weft threads. the warp has loosened up, allowing more weft to be seen, giving a rougher look and feel, and some of the thicker warp threads are really able to be seen with some of the dye gone. not a ton of irregularity, but enough to look pretty cool in faded areas. just wondering if anybody else is happy with theirs at this point, I'm pleasantly surprised by my pair!

Don't need to but it definately doesn't hurt. Gets out all of the starch. And a lot of excess dye, brings out some character. Again, personal preference. And it won't shrink them much, if at all.

tone those are looking pretty nice. how many soaks/washes (if any)?

hot soak when i first got them

cold wash on light after about 4 months (i sat in ice cream)

cold soak (ball hockey in the snow/rain/slush)

hot soak at 6-7 months to freshen up

i like how nice and dark yours have stayed and the fading is just a slightly lighter, nice blue.

mine WGs have about 5, 5.5 months or so on them, they'll probably be soaked by the 6.5 month mark. did you use any special detergent or anything? thinking about using woolite dark

I just found out that N&F came out with weird guys with a red weft! so apparently they will fade to red! i'd love to see how those would turn out...

i think i'll cop those for my next pair :D

I just picked up a pair about a month ago

Size 33 WeirdGuy Red Weft's ... sorry the picture quality isn't very good (I will put some better pics up as they fade more)

and its tough to tell by the selvedge is green

0 washes, 0 Soak's, about 25
