This thread has been done before. Then again, my idea of the perfect denim jean has changed. So.

The usual double ring spun selvage denim, 14-15oz, not too slubby, not too smooth, properly fermented natural plant indigo dye, hank dyed etc... etc...

As for the features, nothing beats the standard 5 pocket design. I would have them MTM for proper fit.

it's like the baby bear of denim... not to slim, not too baggy. denim isn't too thin or too heavy. rise isn't too high or too low. everything is juuuust right.
