Hellshire I bourbon barrel aged barleywine from Oakshire in Eugene, OR. It's very intense and bitey, but I have a thing for bourbon barrel aged dark english barleywines. Sooooo good. My boss shared this, Dark Lord 2011, and some bombers of Alpine all while I was working!

Foothills Sexual Chocolate. Not bad. I would buy bombers from time to time if they were on the shelf for under ten bucks, but as a once a year brewery only thing people go crazy over I think it's overhyped. Shared at Toronado.

No Zubin, you're not allowed unless you send me some #rare #secrete Cali brews.

Nah really though, we need a bigger variety of people posting in here.

Tomorrow's my bday, driving down to VA to go camping for a few days. Stopping by Capone's in Philly on the way to get some good bottles and growlers to celebrate

edit: aho, I had it on tap in 2009 and remember it being good, a bit sweet but really hoppy nonetheless.

^Just got a bottle of that. Also picked up some Surly Coffee Bender, Founders Devil Dancer, Weyerbacher Riserva, and Bruery Hottenroth in the same store. The place had RR, Cigar City, Ithaca, Lost Abbey, Bells, etc (pretty much anything from all over the US). DC's distribution laws are awesome.

Apparently surprise shipments of Cantillon are popping up everywhere.. Classic Gueuze, Lou Pepe Kriek, St. Lamvinus, Fou'Foune, and Iris. I came across 2 bottles of the gueuze today, anybody else see stuff in their area?

I hate new beer's hours. I'd definitely go look to see if they scored some if I could.

Yeah I just tried calling them to ask about a few things and found out they close at 6. I don't understand that at all. They still had Askew as of yesterday according to beermenus.com so I'm going to try to get them to hold some for me.
