This is fairly old news. Word is that they're going to be headlining coachella this year and playing some of the other big summer festivals. I'm down for it.

But in my experience there's loud and crisp and loud that sounds like the best soundsystem on earth has been dug up and then buried again. Given the fact that I'm doubtlessly gonna be stuck behind a sweaty 6ft Goth with receeding dreadlocks who's trying to relive 1992, at 25 squid a ticket I want to at least hear what's going on.

I was on it proper proper early and the thing sold out before I even managed to bring up the online order page or talk to someone on the phone. Crazy.

Demand like that thought they gotsta line up another date.

This is spectacular news. The Pumpkins got back together recently and they've managed to not suck, so I have a lot of faith that their biggest influence in music can pull it off as well.

That's the other reason why it was so difficult getting tickets ... The same ticket agency released tickets for a Pumpkins gig at the o2 arena at the same time and people went nuts for that as well. Sold out online in about 20 minutes.
