What would you say is the best domain provider...or all-around way to get your own "blahblabhablha-dot-com" site up?

I know about Go Daddy...is that the way to go for a, say, music label site? Nothing too graphic intense...more focused on ease of navigation and content...maybe a paypal store for merch.

I'm kinda new to the whole obtaining your own domain/making a website thing. Any help from you pro-types would be gladly accepted...thanks in advance.
