The Evolution of Jeans: Pictures, Scones and Tea

I just had to delete 45! posts from this thread.

How on earth a thread about sharing worn in jeans can end up in people calling eachother gay puzzles me...

What the fuck where you guys thinking?

This thread will from now on continue as a picture only thread, and only discussion directly focussed on/related to the fading of a pair of jeans (if it is also interesting for people to read, otherwise pm!) will be allowed.

If you want to compliment people on their jeans, that's what we have the rep system for.

Sorry to have to do this, but I feel like I have to look over a fucking kindergarten full of spoiled little brats here!

I was just going through some old family photos and came across this pic. Don't know what brand they are but look awesome. It was taken some time in the mid 70's. I thought the fades and fit on these jeans looked really good and would probably be SuFu approved...not sure about the shoes though=)

always have liked the AWs, moreso for their intrinsic value than anything. Did you wash those much or did they just not hold the indigo very well? Looks like a cross between APC and Imperial fade.

These got washed alot, during the last 4 months sometimes every week.I found they held indigo quite well, there is still alot that could come out, especially in the back.

Cotton - sometimes these little detours are quite enjoyable...

Ur the new sufu police...

Now please - delete me...LOL

I agree entirely. Detours and discussion make this thread interesting.

I thought thats what the gallery was for. Maybe you should start updating it Cotton. The thread hasn't been touched since March.

resin coated raw Gap Morrisons after over a year. this is right before wash #3. they finished drying after it got dark so post wash pics hopefully tomorrow. they ended up way, way more contrasty than these pics show, psyched. you can spot patches on both heels, the crotch, back pocket, and now the second from top button hole has ripped out and ive gotta get it repaired. luckily i can still wear them without it looking too bad.
