And my 2 week old Sammys. Got some flooring glue on one knee already and car polish on the other. No wear but lightening on the knee, but thought hey, while I am taking the worst pics of my life, why not make these look like crap too.

Well that is all, and I learned two things through the last hour I took to post this stuff:

1. When you realize your pics are crap, redo them, it is not taking the pics that takes time but posting them.

2. There NEEDS to be a faster way to upload pics. This has actually taken me an hour to do this. IDK what I am doing wrong.

haha yea uploading is a pain... do you resize your pics before uploading?

or do you resize using the imagesahck thiing... i think its faster to do it yourself

and also if you have photobucket... you can masss upload i think like up to 12 images or somehthing

regardless.. we need better pics of your eternals

ANDEWHALL v3 grifters - one wash - three months

These things were the fastest breaking denim I have ever had.. I was able to wear them for three months before the crotch blew out to unwearable status and the backpocket became unstitched. Still, the denim itself started to show wear within like the first three days of. The things faded so quick, I wonder what they would have looked like if I could have worn them longer. They have been sitting in the closet for a while, but Ande sent over some denim swatches for me to do some repairs on them, so I decided to give them a wash and post pictures.

I find tinypic to be pretty fast.

Your sams don't look like they have much wear at all...or is it just the pic?

You must be incredibly hard on your jeans. I've had grifters since february and I have no sign of crotch blowout nor are any of the pockets coming apart. Mine aren't anywhere near as faded either. Granted I only wear them a couple days a week, and I'm mostly sitting around. Beautiful jeans though.. and they have a nice kind of dusty subtle fade.

Does anyone else get ass-whiskers??

I must learn how to avoid them ... my skulls have 'em and now my samurais are developing them quickly.

I'd guess it's something to do with not having an exact fit, but my skulls are pretty much spot on.

Wow to the Grifters above ... hope the repairs go well ... should be worth it.

I don't even care anymore...I think some of us just get them...oh well.

^^these ass whiskers--

they are characteristics that resemble the wearer in their full potential of the denim itself. I get them with on some jeans but not others, but I always appriciate them when they are around.

Hews do you write the date that you started wearing the jeans or when you purchased them on the pocket bag? I write it on the tag of every jean I buy (the date I started wearing them) on the reverse side of it.

meta great grifters!

What did you do in them to get them to fade so quickly?

I've had my grifters since late March and I've worn them about 75% of the days up until now and they're nowhere near as faded.

I'm pretty sure meta is a machine, because, dammit, grifters don't fade that fast, if anything.. they're a little bit stubborn.

I don't know I think they fade pretty fast. I'm going to throw my grifters in for their first machine wash right now (they've had two cold soaks) then retire them to a weekend/work/skate jean so I can really beat em up. They're coming along nicely.

I'll post pics during another weekend when I have some more time to take pics and whatnot.

On my newest pair of jeans I carved stuff into the backs of the buttons/rivits (although I have to work on doing a neater job at it), I never thought about writing on the pocket bags. Good idea:)
