Yeah, it was a weird time in my life. I went to the Levi's store on 59th and Lex. and these caught my eye for some reason. I even bought 2 sizes too big, but what the fuck.

i don't think they're ugly at all either....i think they're nicely worn and i love the holes. the one pocket does bother ma as well. Not a big fan of that, but aside from that they're great.

The knees took about 5 years to start, but once they started, those things went quick. I wore them quite a bit and for some reason, my knees always get worn down really quick, so I think it was normal wear...for me.

They weren't raw, although they were quite dark. To be honest, I didn't know anything about denim back then, because I walked across the street to Diesel and blew money like it was going out of style.

Oh and Travis...yeah. Especially since it's a block from Context and 2 from my house. 2 good things that close make it exceptional.

yup. they were Nudie Regular Ralf Dry Selvage (RAW) from the start. Not been washed.

Really? i quite like the before wash looks. will post the after wash soon.

Only been wearing them at night cos its freakin' hot (34 degree celsius) here and humidity is about 90%.

i would warm soak them, not all out wash -- you could still get some more contrast!

Luckyly the bleach didn't cost any damage to my samurai, but I think it is an enrly wash. Anyway it feel soft and tight again!

they're all over rakuten, usually under the heading "goods." fab four also has some in "accessories"; three different styles i think. order direct or through 2000db.
