why does this have to happen right after i buy my skulls....

anyway, i'm in for a size 31

just wish it still had red tab but beggars can't be choosers i guess. it would be nice if there was some sort of minimal branding besides a custom tag that's covered by my belt anyway.

k so i read the size chart and im just a tad confused

my waist (in samurai s0500xx) is 34, but on the measuerments the sz 34 waist is 35.5 inches...if i needed a 34, i assume that i would be going for the sz. 32

long slung jeans, meant to be worn on the hips. size down if you want, or just wear them low. refer to picture of cheep where he wears both a 28 and a 30. both fit fine. size accordingly

I went to BiG and tried these things on to see how they fit exactly. They fit like a regular straight leg jean. Thats it good overall cut and fit , just about anybody would like these things. Im a size 32 in pretty much everything and the ones I tried on were one wash and they fit perfectly. amazing feel to the denim!

811's

sda 103's

oni blues ( which are the only ones that are too big in a 32)

pbj 007's

all of which fit perfectly in a 32.

the others aren't worth mentioning because they all had to be bought in smaller sizes ie: APC, etc...

sigh, what's so difficult to understand. i'm tempted to +rep you dark

the jeans are low rise...

therefore they sit on the hip, not the waist....

the hip is usually about +2 larger than the waist....

therefore the 'waist' listed on the chart is not really a waist measurement, but is actually a hip measurement and this is why it is +2 larger than the 'size'......

therefore just buy your normal 'size' and it will fit perfectly.

Then you size down a bit. There is obviously flexibility with jeans. You can usually go true to size, size down 1 or size up 1 and achieve different looks or adjust them to your body. That's the beauty of having a choice.

About the best explanation so far..

I guess that explains why cheep's 28's fit him , but look somewhat pulled up...they still fit, but maybe you have to wear them a tad higher...

Regular size sounds like the way to go with these...

To add to the overall confusion, I would like to add that I just measured my SD-103s, and based on these measurements, I will definitely need to size down.

SD-103 (size 34)

Waist: 34.6

F.rise: 10.4

B.rise: 14.4

U.thie: 12.4

Knee: 9.3

Hem: 8.7

Comparing this to BiG's size chart, I'd say I need a size 32 or 33 (depending on whether they stretch of shrink more). Either way, sizing down doesn't seem such a bad idea after all. I'm therefore very surprised about rome1's previous comments - I'm pretty sure a size 34 (what I wear in SDs) will be too big for me.

The idea of having a bigger waist because you wear them lower doesn't apply here, because as you can see SD-103s in 34 have the same rise as these 660s in 32. If anything, the rise on the 660s is a tad higher, so I would need an even smaller waist than on SDs.

Hope this helps.

WH approved the patch chicken submitted so we're good to go.

They cannot stamp an individual number per each jean on the patch so Gordon is

going to number them all by writing the number on the pocket lining. they

will also make size 27 so the sizes will be 27-36,38, and 40. We can start

the pre-ordering this weekend.

Gordon also sent them the fit pics i took and they love them. They asked him

if they could them post on their website... awesome.
