Sivletto. They bought up the inventory from a store (can´t remember the name) that closed down. They don´t carry The Steam Locomotive anymore.

And by the way they are 32´s. Straight regular fit I would say. I´ll get back with measurements.

It was called Haberdashery and was a really cool store. Sorry to see it go...

Steam Locomotive D62XXX. It's the slubbiest denim I've ever seen, it's like every thread pops out. Looks really cool though, a big contrast to my Samurais and LVC's. They're stubborn as hell!

In the denim rotation for 1,5 years. 5 washes.

can you share some information about measurements and how to size these? i was always interested in them but the sizing turned me off. there was a world tour on mynudies with the d51xxx...and they were huge compared to the taged size.

They are a bit big in sizing, thats true.

Mine are 32 waist, and looser than my Samurais 500XX 32's (and the 500XX aren't a slim fit). But I like my jeans a little bit loose. What brand and model do you like and have, maybe I could recommend a size if I knew that.

I got some D62xxx in a 34, my usual size in most things, and I could have sized down to a 33 for a slimmer cut. As it happens though after one warm soak they fit fine, like my old Sugar Cane 47's but a bit trimmer round the seat. There is a little hip flare but that will go with consecutive washes.

Overall though a real nice cut. My mate has some D51xxx's and yeh they're frickin huge.

I apologize for digging up this old thread, but is TSL's XXX denim unsanforized? It seems like it is, but I haven't found a definitive answer. Thanks for the help.

As per request here's my d62xxx. Bought mine many years ago but just started wearing them last year. Maybe 6 months effective wear time and about 8 40c washes (line dried) with 2 initial hot soaks.

Yeah, that's the reason why I didn't wear them after that first soak. A lot of anti fit in the seat, really wide legs and huge hip bulges. -stuff I really wasn't into at the time.

Totally forgot about this brand. If I remember right, Self Edge carried some of their stuff very early on.
